2022-23 Season Highlights

We are getting ready for the 2023-23 Springfield High School Ice Hockey season.  We plan for a full hockey season and have some Information.

Registration for the season will be open on the website http://www.shsicehockey.com from 6/26/2022- 7/31/2022 At that time you can register for the season and Penn State training camp.  Below are specifics.

Registration:

- All outstanding previous tuition must be paid in full
- $275 non refundable deposit required at registration
- $1,400 tuition for the season (auto installment plans available)
- Tuition deadline is 12/15/2022
- USA Hockey membership for 2022-23 required. Go to USA Hockey to register: USA Hockey Member Registration
- Birth certificate required


Penn State Pre-Season camp:

- Dates are 8/26- 8/28/2022
- 5 ice slots at Pegula Arena (2 Friday, 2 Saturday, 1 Sunday)
- 2 night hotel stay at The Graduate Hotel 
- $300.00 fee due at time of registration for the season
- Players and parents required to sign zero tolerance policy on alcohol, substance abuse, and discipline infractions (removal from team)
- Chaperones needed, background clearances required (anyone interested in being a chaperone contact Phil Eastman at [email protected])
- We will hold a parent and player meeting on Monday 8/22 at 7:30pm at the high school to go over expectations on Penn State and the season.
